Giorgio Volpe was last seen in Al Blackstone’s, “Guys and Dolls” and The Duke of Weselton in “Frozen the Musical" at The Maltz Jupiter Theatre. His other regional credits include: Emcee in “Cabaret", Ritchie Valens in “The Buddy Holly Story”, and Dennis/Perkins in "The Play That Goes Wrong".
Giorgio Volpe is an actor, musician, filmmaker, and illustrator based in New York City. With a Bachelors degree in Communication Arts received from Florida International University, Giorgio applies his knowledge of interaction to all facets of his work. As an actor, Giorgio prioritizes nuance, style, and charisma to each character he inhabits. He is driven by the seemingly never-ending wealth of knowledge that the acting process affords him. Whether it’s crafting and embodying a character or championing a creative project to fruition, Giorgio always yields an entirely authentic, committed, and intentional result.
As a musician, Giorgio has played guitar for over a decade. Mostly influenced by artists such as Bill Frisell, Julian Lage, and Wes Montgomery, his playing style evokes a marriage of jazz, R&B, and soul. His playing has been described as, “effectively aiding in underscoring moods, thoughts and feelings,” by Aaron Krause of Miamiartzine. While pursuing his musical endeavors under the moniker, “Phaux Whole,” Giorgio maintains his artistic sensibilities regardless of the medium.
