Giorgio Volpe is an actor, musician, filmmaker, and voiceover artist based in South Florida. With a Bachelors degree in Communication Arts received from Florida International University, Giorgio applies his knowledge of interaction to all facets of his work. As an actor, Giorgio crafts engaging and focused performances. He is compelled by the subtle nuances of character development and how changes in posture, tone, diction, and movement can affect a performance. He is driven by the seemingly never-ending wealth of knowledge that the acting process affords. Aside from working in theatre, voiceover, and film, Giorgio has recently taught improv to international students. Whether it be crafting and embodying a character or bringing a project to fruition, Giorgio always yields an entirely authentic, committed, and intentional result.
As a musician, Giorgio has played guitar for over a decade. Mostly influenced by artists such as Bill Frisell, Julian Lage, and George Benson, his playing style evokes a marriage of jazz, R&B, and soul. His playing has been described as, “effectively aiding in underscoring moods, thoughts and feelings,” by Aaron Krause of Miamiartzine. While pursuing his musical endeavors under the moniker, “Phaux Whole,” Giorgio maintains his artistic sensibilities regardless of the medium.
